Google Assistant Major Update Announced

Google Assistant Major Update Announced

Google announced at CES about the innovations that the Google Assistant will receive in the near future. The update will be released in the coming months and will be quite useful.

The Google Assistant will support the Read command, thanks to which the digital assistant can read aloud any text on the screen. The company promised to support different languages and dialects, as well as to improve the natural pronunciation of the text, there will be no signs of a robotic voice.

The Google Assistant will also receive timer support, which will allow it to execute commands with a given delay. This innovation is useful for controlling smart home devices – it will be possible to tell the assistant what time it is necessary to perform one or another action.

And finally, Google Assistant will begin to appear on those devices that previously did not support it. Now it is available on smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and smart speakers, and in the future, it can be used on televisions and other home appliances.
Thanks to this innovation, users will be able to control various devices using voice commands or a mobile application on a smartphone.

Unfortunately, Google did not disclose when the Google Assistant will receive the announced innovations. It can be assumed that this will happen closer to spring when there will be a conference for I / O developers.

Google will have the opportunity to talk about the new capabilities of the digital assistant for application developers and show various examples of how they can integrate it into all kinds of products.
