Huawei P20 Pro returns to update in a stable version based on Android Pie 9.0 and EMUI 9.1 software customization introduced in late July. The distribution of the new update, identifiable with the EMUI release 188.8.131.521 (C432E8R1P11), has started in the past few hours and has already reached a limited number of devices sold in the Italian market (no brand).
The innovations integrated onboard the latest firmware has been described in the official changelog and only include an improvement in the security of the Android operating system obtained thanks to the security patches of December 2019. The release of the update will continue over the next few years, reaching all compatible devices via an OTA notification.
