RedmiBook Pro 14/15 Ryzen Edition released with AMD Ryzen 5000

The recently launched Redmi Book Pro 14 Ryzen Edition and RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition are identical to the original RedmiBook Pro 14/15 from three months ago.

At the end of February, the Redmi Launched the RedmiBook Pro 14 it’s the RedmiBook Pro 15 at the series launch event Redmi K40 in China. Three months later, the Xiaomi launched the Ryzen Edition of these two notebooks. As the name suggests, the brand’s new notebooks are powered by processors AMD Ryzen instead of processors Intel like the original models.

The newly launchedRedmi Book Pro 14 Ryzen Edition and RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition are identical to the RedmiBook Pro original 14/15 of three months ago.

The RedmiBook Pro 14 it’s the RedmiBook Pro 15 that comes with 111300H Intel Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H. On the other hand, the Ryzen Edition of these notebooks features not two, but four processors AMDDifferent.

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5500U – ¥ 4,299 (€ 549)
  • AMD Ryzen 7 5700U – ¥ 4,699 (€ 600)

RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition Variants and Price

  • AMD Ryzen 5.5600H – ¥ 4,799 (€ 614)
  • AMD Ryzen 7.5800H – ¥ 5,299 (€ 678)

Anyway, despite bringing different processors, they have the same 3200MHz 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD.

Another difference is that due to the presence of processors OMG, O RedmiBook Pro 14/15 Ryzen Edition does not come with a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port. However, one of the two USB Type-C ports is expected to support video output, according to the official website. Therefore, we think that this port includes the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, although it is not officially mentioned by the brand.

In addition to the aforementioned differences, the RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition it’s the RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition are exactly the same as the RedmiBook Pro 14 original and RedmiBook Pro 15.
